RDP/VAE Description:
Redispersible Latex Powder (VAE/RDP) is formed by spray drying of ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion using the polymerization process. This product has good film-forming properties, easily soluble in water and easy to form emulsions, strong adhesion, and strong stretchability. It can give the mortar good fluidity and workability, and effectively improve cohesion, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, and Weather resistance, airtightness, impermeability, and bonding strength.
Copolymer powder of vinyl acetate and ethylene, which can be dispersed in water.
Due to the relatively high ethylene content, this resin is soft and elastic.
Its glass transition temperature (Tg) is lower than the freezing point of water.
RDP Compounds exhibit better adhesion, flexural strength, deformability, abrasion resistance, cohesion, and are easier to process. Leveling, thixotropy and water retention are largely unaffected. This product is ideal for use in combination with other mortar additives designed to enhance specific properties.
